JULIEN VONIER X N°2 - 06/12/25 to 18/01/26

Exhibition at N°2: Julien Vonier

8 December 2025 – 18 January 2026

We are pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition at N°2, presenting a curated selection of works by Swiss photographer Julien Vonier.

A Long-Term Photographic Exploration

At the heart of the exhibition lies a major long-term project developed over thirteen years and comprising more than 5,000 photographs. Captured from shifting perspectives — on foot, from a moving vehicle, across different times of day and changing weather — this series reflects on rhythm, routine, and the quiet poetry embedded in everyday moments.

Complementing this central body of work, we will also showcase selected individual pieces that highlight the breadth of Vonier’s creative practice.

About Julien Vonier

Julien Vonier is a photographer who does not simply document — he constructs.
His approach is precise, conceptual, and shaped by a deep understanding of light as a creative medium.

Raised in an artistic family, Vonier discovered his passion early. A formative experience in a photo lab revealed the transformative nature of light — an insight that has guided his work ever since. He went on to train in renowned Swiss studios, including those of E. T. Werlen, H. P. Mühlemann, and Peter Forster, where he developed the craftsmanship, discipline, and intuition that define his practice today.

Vonier’s portfolio spans fashion, food, portraiture, animals, landscapes, and automobiles. The unifying thread across all his work is intention: each image is carefully conceived, emotionally driven, and executed with precision. He has received multiple accolades, including being listed among the 200 Best AD Photographers Worldwide.
